   Sungkyunkwan University is the one of the leading universities in the world and supported from the Samsung Corporation. Medical School is located in Suwon, the capital of Kyonggi province and in close vicinity from Seoul. Graduate School of Medicine is performing many cutting-edge biomedical researches in alliance with Samsung Biomedical Research institute, a world famous institute in biomedical field. The School is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for modern biomedical sciences such as biochemistry, cell biology, electro-physiology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, molecular anatomy, molecular biology, molecular genetics, molecular pathology, parasitology and pharmacology, and structural biology in the Departments of Molecular Cell Biology, Anatomy and Physiology. Hence, the applicant will be exposed to a wide variety of disciplines in modern biomedical sciences. Experienced technicians are assisting graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
   
   
2. Degrees offered
   Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees are awarded to the candidate of PhD program. Those who take the MS-PhD program will receive Master and PhD degrees.
