  1. Epidemiology of neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson disease, main interest on its environmental risk factors and their interaction with genetic, constitutional factors
  2. Epidemiology of environmental health hazards
  3. Environmental factors related to the transmission of infectious diseases
  4. Neurotoxicity of manganese and other toxic metals, especially on the use of MRI for the evaluation of manganese exposure
