The Department of Anatomy consists of 3 faculty members and 5 associates. The instructional function of the department provides 4 subdivisions: human gross anatomy and dissection, human neuroanatomy, human embryology, and human histology. The Department also provides human materials for clinical collaborations. The faculty members are actively involved in academic and research activities: Dr. Kim has special interests in cardiac ischemia-reperfusion cell biology; Dr. Lee has made numerous achievements in neuroscience especially on the retina; Dr. Oh has focussed on human clinical anatomy, particularly the nervous system.
