Alien registration

1) Introduction

• Foreign students are required to register their presence in Korea at immigration office within 3 months after their entries.
• They have to go to the office and agent cannot substitute the registration.
• After registration, ID card will be issued.
• Immigration office will assign the duration. It is required to register again to extend the duration day.

Health Insurance

1) Introduction

• Foreign students must get the health insurance right after getting foreign registration card.
• They have to go to the office and agent cannot substitute the registration.
• After registration and paying three months premiums in advance, insurance card will be issued immediately.
• Health insurance will cover about two third of a fee for medical treatment including a medicine prescribed.

• Application form (form is prepared in the office and can be filled by the assistant in the office)

Bank account

You need to open the back account in any bank with your passport. Your stipend will be transferred to your bank account.

Korean class

Korean class might be arranged for foreign student depending on the situation.
